Julia Bader

Julia Bader is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Amsterdam.

She is studying authoritarianism and how authoritarian regimes engage the outside world. In particular, she is interested in China’s external relations, the rise of China as an international actors, and whether and how China affects authoritarianism and democracy elsewhere.
