Federica D’Alessandra

Federica D’Alessandra is a British Academy Global Innovation Fellow with the Global Order and Institutions Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

She is also Deputy Director of the University of Oxford’s Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict and Director of the International Peace and Security programme at the Blavatnik School of Government. She focuses on U.S. foreign policy, transatlantic security and relations, geopolitics, and international law issues relating to armed conflict, human protection, and global accountability. She regularly advises international organization and government agencies (US and UK) on legal, policy, and strategic issues and has provided expert evidence before the Commons Select Committees on Foreign Affairs and International Development and the Lords Select Committee on International Relations and Defence.
