Javier Sajuria is a Professor of Comparative Politics at Queen Mary University of London.
Javier Sajuria is also the Dean for Education in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD and MSc from University College London and a JD from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His research spans political behaviour, electoral politics, public opinion and democratic attitudes, with experience in working on populism and far-right politics. His work is comparative in nature, with special focus in Europe and Latin America. He was previously a Lecturer at Newcastle University and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Strathclyde. He writes regularly in international media and is active in academic leadership and civic engagement in Europe.
